The Irish Youth Hockey League

The Irish Youth Hockey League (IYHL) was organized in 1968 and was dedicated then as it is today, to offering the youth in South Bend and surrounding communities of Northern Indiana the opportunity to learn and enjoy the sport of ice hockey and figure skating.  The league has grown from 50 boys that participated in 1968 to over 400 boys and girls today.

Below are the schedules for January 2012

Winter Learn to Play

Registration for the upcoming Winter Learn to Play Program will be held on the following dates:

Sunday, December 11th at Notre Dame in the Main Arena from 12:00pm-3:00pm

Sunday, December 18th at The Ice Box from 12:00pm-3:00pm

The fee for the program will feature 8 sessions beginning on Saturday, January 7th.  The fee for the program is $50/skater and full hockey equipment is required.  Rental gear will be available for rent the week prior to January 7th, the date and time is still being scheduled.

Each participant must be registered with USA Hockey and the following forms completed prior to the beginning of the program.
