HSH Spring Tournament Teams
High Skills Hockey (HSH) is a premier spring development program designed to elevate young hockey players. Through age-appropriate training and a structured development approach, HSH helps athletes grow both mentally and physically—setting them up for success heading into the next season.
Ages
Teams are formed using 2026 USA Hockey birth-year guidelines. Tryouts will be conducted in groups of years. Players must register for the age group that matches their birth year.
- 2017–2016 → 10U
- 2015–2014 → 12U
- 2013–2012 → 14U
- 2011–2010 → 16U
- 2009–2008 → 18U
Players will be evaluated within their birth-year group, and teams will be formed based on tryout performance and development readiness.
If you are unsure which age group your player should register for, please contact the program before completing registration.
2026 Cost
Tryouts: $50 per player
Season Registration (invite-only):
– $500 per skater + uniforms
– $400 per goalie + uniforms
Registration links will be sent directly to selected families after tryouts.
Jerseys
Jerseys are not included in the season fee and will be purchased separately for $150.

Tournament Season Details
Players selected for a team will participate in two practices prior to each tournament, for a total of six practices throughout the season. Practice dates and times will be announced once teams are finalized.

Spring 2026 (Co-Ed)
Get ready for the HSH Spring Co-Ed Tournament Teams! This spring development program offers age-group tryouts (10U–18U) during the week of March 16–19 at The Ice Box, where players will be evaluated and teams formed based on performance and growth. Selected teams will compete in exciting regional tournaments throughout April and May, including events like the South Bend Cup and Showdown in the Windy City. It’s a great chance to sharpen skills, gain competitive experience, and prepare for the upcoming season.

Spring 2026 (Girls)
Join the HSH Spring Girls Tournament Teams and take your game to the next level! Tryouts for girls (10U–14U/16U) are scheduled for the week of March 23–26 at The Ice Box, giving players an opportunity to be selected for spring tournament play. The girls’ teams will participate in premier tournaments such as Girls MoTown and Pink the Rink in April and May, offering strong competition and development in a supportive, all-girls environment.
